Made to be used by everyone.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the store, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished project. When we build or change a page, keyboard use, screen-reader order, contrast, and motion are part of the check.

What is built in

  • Semantic headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through each page in order.
  • A skip link to the main content, and a visible focus style on every link, button, and form field.
  • Keyboard access to the menus, product options, quantity controls, and the cart.
  • Text alternatives on product imagery, with decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
  • Color combinations chosen for contrast, and text that scales with your browser settings.
  • Reduced motion respected: animation is switched off when your device asks for it.
  • Forms with visible labels, clear error messages, and no time limits.

Where we are still working

Some parts of the store are provided by Shopify or by apps: checkout, payment methods, and the chat assistant among them. We choose and configure them with accessibility in mind, but we cannot change everything about how they behave. If one of them gets in your way, tell us; we will pass it on and find another route for you in the meantime.

Tell us what is not working

If you hit a barrier, email info@trybluvana.com or use the chat and ask for a human. Include the page address and what happened. We typically respond within 1–2 business days, and we will help you complete your order another way while we look into it.
